Your demo and review was for entertainment only. Its like taking your family with luggage to the airport on a bicycle, not a good choice for the task. If you had a household of 2 adults who does not wear their garden shoes inside, this could be a good fit. I like this floor cleaner because I know I don't want to spend time cleaning the inside of a filthy machine.

I find it amazing how much more modern and robust the Electrolux upright series were at the time compared to the plastic Hoover Junior and the Hoover Turbopower. Appears much more expensive to manufacture than the above, given how much more popular Hoover uprights were than the Electrolux uprights it makes me wonder how Electrolux could afford it.

I’m in the USA but you did a great job. I love the way you speak the King’s tongue. I’m looking for a new vacuum and leaning towards Miele after a Dyson a d a Shark - both junk since we have a dog who sheds like crazy. We have mainly all wood and tile floors with some low pile area rugs. I’m thinking the C1 pet version for us may be the ticket. The only thing i don’t like is the shorter cord vs the higher models.

I almost guarantee the technician's diagnosis of the problem described in the video was not truly accurate! He disappeared to his van for 10 minutes to disguise his incompetence in front of the customer and talk his superiors into agreeing to a replacement. Now read through my experience with Miele, which is nothing short of shocking: 1) My Miele WWI860 WCS PWash TDos 9kg GB washing machine stopped working after just 16 months. Miele arranged for a technician to visit a week later, once I reported the fault under the 2-year warranty. The technician, unfamiliar with this model, wasn't sure what the problem was and ordered a replacement part based on speculation. Another visit was scheduled for the following week. 2) A different technician installed the new part, but the issue persisted (the machine won't turn on). Another part was ordered, with the next appointment scheduled two weeks later, as the part needed to be shipped from Germany. 3) The day before the third visit, Miele emailed to say they had tried to phone me (a lie) to let me know that part hadn't arrived and postponed the appointment for another two weeks. 4) Two weeks later, I received another email the day before the appointment falsely claiming they had tried to phone me to let me know that the part still hadn't arrived. They have the right mobile number for me and I received text messages in the past. 5) Infuriated, and having been without a washing machine for a month, I demanded to speak to a manager. Miele customer service had assured me that someone would contact me within three days of my initial complaint, but no one did. I explained the ridiculous situation and refused to wait another two weeks. 6) I demanded a replacement machine, which they agreed to as their technicians couldn't diagnose the fault. 7) The new machine arrived a week later. Before attempting to install it, I tried to remove the transit bars. The right bar came out easily, but the left one wouldn't budge, suggesting it was bent, possibly during transit by Miele's chosen shipping company, ArrowXL. 8) Now I have to wait another week for a technician to remove a transit bar from a brand-new machine, and it's now been over a month without having a functioning washer. The level of Miele customer service in the UK is shockingly poor, and the wait times are unacceptable. It's unbelievable that Miele technicians are not trained well enough to diagnose faults and that it takes so long for Miele to source their own parts. Not to mention the lies about their supposed attempts to phone me and their failure to follow up on customer complaints. My previous £300 BEKO washing machine lasted 10 years. Yet the so-called premium Miele, promising 20 years of use, broke down in 16 months. Did the price I paid for a premium product justify the promised quality or service? Absolutely NOT! It's incredibly frustrating to go through this ordeal with my Miele washing machine and the subsequent poor customer service experience. The multiple technician visits, incorrect part orders, delayed appointments, and lack of communication are all unacceptable for a company that positions itself as a premium brand. It's especially concerning that the technicians seemed unfamiliar with the new model and that it took so long to source parts. This raises questions about the company's training programs and supply chain management. The fact that my previous, more affordable washing machine lasted 10 years while the Miele machine failed after just 1.5 years only adds to the disappointment. It seems that the price I paid for a premium product (Miele WWI860 WCS PWash TDos 9kg GB) did not translate into the expected quality or service. Experiences like this highlight the importance of thorough research and consideration before investing in high-priced appliances, as well as the need for companies to prioritise customer satisfaction and provide adequate support when issues arise. Miele may have built their reputation on their production line of making durable washing machines in the past, but do yourself a favour and search online for others' experiences on their modern models, which only come with 2 years of warranty. They are nowhere near reliable!

Other Miele owners told me they had the same problem with the TwinDos and shared photos of their destroyed machines on my Facebook page. They also recieved replacement machines as they couldn’t be repaired. I was told that Miele now fit a plastic liner to the base to prevent any leakage from the detergent bottles corroding the metal.

What's the point in just placing stuff ontop of a rug and then moving the hoover over it, that's not what happens in the really world is it, it gets mashed into the carpet?, most hoovers never get all the pet hair out of the carpet!, They shouldn't be allowed to sell them as pet version because they never remove the pet hair out of the carpet only what's on top. I know this because I've tried alot of them, the only thing that works is a stiff bristled brush and doing it by hand or one of those hand tool pet hair removers from amazon, most hoovers are hopeless at removing pet hair from the fibre piles of the carpet!. Don't waste your money!

Love your reviews, Roger! I own the Spinwave as well as the Crosswave. I find the Crosswave does a much better job at picking up dirt and leaving the floor clean. The Spinwave's microfiber pads get saturated much too quickly for heavily-soiled floors. Much like cleaning a big mess with any rag, you would have to rinse it and give another pass. You can take off the pads and rinse them and have another go, but nothing beats the Crosswave because it removes dirt rather than spreading it. The Spinwave still has its uses. It's great at scrubbing hard to remove dirt spots on the floor, like spilled sugary coffee spots. I usually use it for light cleaning, rinsing the pads after cleaning a whole room and before moving on to the next. A good rinse is often enough to make the pads effective again and after cleaning, they go into the wash.

When I’d go to my Grandparents house i immediately got out the Kirby 517

9:40 furries I bet could do this no problem. they have made real life protogen fursuit heads with full emotions (Example here: watch?v=yMvYlebpRRo). theoretically it's very simple. make the screen and design the preprogrammed responses, pair it up with a pressure switch or airflow sensor to the CPU to trigger the appropriate response based on what the sensor is detecting. in practice this will be very tricky to make it look good, and the exposure to dust and dings and rough handling, etc.
