My favorite machine I've made with this body specifically was probably Eliminator (Such a bad @$$ name too). Swap out Energy Crest and Sunrise 140 with Combat Cannon and Devilfish-RX respectively.

Suggestion for a future video. Try swapping out Grand Base for Megalo Cruiser instead. Definitely not a beginner friendly machine, but a powerful one. Also shows just how OP Maximum Star really is. I don't care how heavy the machine is, when Maximum Star says turn, you turn.

Man, I love this presentation style. Very goofy, and in line with GX. I feel like this could be a program that airs after the announcer interviews the player.

When I saved up my lunch money in anticipation for this game back in high school, I never expected there to be custom machines... let alone so many of them! I was fascinated by it, though still a bit bummed there are so few courses in comparison. 😅 Back then, my English wasn't anywhere near as good as it is now, so guides weren't exactly a thing I could refer to on machine creation. That means I had to try out building a few of them, until I came up with my favorite machine.⚡ 🐴 Z ~

Either the Dragon Bird of GP Legend has been buffed or Dr.Clash who created it put a cheat code in it! XD

I get crazy bear vibes from this but I can dragon bird as well lol. Anyway as much as I joked about the tyrant being a literal brick I’ve recently tried the Megalo cruiser and dread hammer out, and I actually really liked them. The former especially felt super fun to drive with (almost natural even). I made the heavy cannon-g4 which you had actually shown off over a year ago I believe and yeah that thing was absolutely monstrous! Also tried the dread hammer and was not aware of how much speed you needed to initiate a mts with. You basically have to keep it’s speed from the initial one to keep chaining the rest and that sounds like to much work to learn honestly so I’m fine with Megalo. Point being I’m legitimately interested in trying the big snake here lol

Sir I have to say, you're under appreciated. Someone who really did a review for every extreme gear deserves my applause the dedication to this is astounding!! You have my fullest respect. Crazy I knew the gears affected stats along with characters but didn't know it popped up when you pick it. As a kid I made whole table to figure it out the stats of everyone took way too much time.

I made a machine very similar to this it was so much fun using it.

I remember using boost style essentially all the time. The fact you could save for three and go flying was the best. Turbo is good but the built up of speed just wasn't for me as kid when you get instant speed. Turbo only felt nice with vehicle with lots of fuel and you save it. At the same time you would essentially be not boosting for most of the race just looking for key times to use it. I miss this game. Do you also play grip? That's a really fun one as well. Wish more people cared about these niche games.

Titan-G4 is a hard part to go wrong with. Arguably the most versatile booster in the game.

Holy Spider was never a body I enjoyed using. Like the Silver Sword it's EXTREMELY skid-happy and just tanks your grip if you use it. Compared to the ever-reliable and sure-footed Aqua Goose...

Liberty manta is one of my favourite body parts because combined with the RX booster and heat lizard cockpit gave me a mantine looking machine (had Octoman driving it because of octillery being remoraid's evo)

I appreciate the worldbuilding with the different planets I liked that about F-Zero as well with all the pilots having their own stories going on that have nothing to do with Captain Falcon to the point where I sometimes forget that he's the face of the series.

The first race definitely felt like the AI had that end of race issue again The second race was goddamn perfect tho LMAO

Ive been paying attention to that weird tendency for the AI to suddenly lose engine power at the end of the race and noticing the outer cups seem to suffer from the issue less often than the inner cups. I noticed it here with the first race but then noticed it didnt happen at all with the others. Im still wondering what causes it...

Machines with the the Liberty Manta body really does have some very patriotic sounding names attached to them though I can also see machines with this body having a name that resembles French patriotism given that the word liberty is also associated with France
