I had a scare last night. I looked at the shelf where I would put my library card, on a shelf sitting on a plush bear, and I realized that it wasn't there. And I'm thinking "I actually lost my card for good" and so I'm looking all over my room and in my sister's car cause that's where it was. I don't have an I.D yet, me and my mom were gonna get me one but Covid hit, so I knew I wasn't gonna be able to get a new one. I grab the two library books I had to look through to see if I put in there. I open the cover of one of the books and there it was. So yeah that's the story of how I lost my library card. Sorry if this scared any book lovers.

@Milkdreams same or else I wouldn't be able to check out books anymore or have to borrow my older sister's card, she has checked out books that I want to borrow for me cause there were times I have forgotten my card at home. Also have taught me to never leave my card in a book every again, either leave it in a little purse or put it on my shelf with a plush bear holding it

1971 Bad year for America. Hippies burning library cards, Abby Hoffman telling everybody to steal books. I don't judge a man by the length of his hair or the kind of music he listens to. Rock was never my bag. But you put on a pair of shoes when you walk into the LA Public Library, fella.
