I’m thinking about getting one and I have 1gb internet, but the connection speed is around 350-450mbs. Is that cool for the connection? Should I get an Ethernet cable? Is there major Latency issues on solo games? Sorry for so many questions. Appreciate the vid fr tho

The C100 II is a sleeper of a camera. The spec chasers have no clue what they are missing out on. The camera is a proper 4K super35 cinema camera that converts down to 1080p which looks like film because of how it gets internally converted.

The C100 MKII is excellent for what you’re looking to shoot. It’s a 4K sensor compressing down to 1080p. It a sharp image on a super 35 sensor. I shoot one man production so I need the autofocus. I purchased that lens and then returned it. Wasn’t a fan of the focus breathing. It’s a good starter Cine lens if you can deal with that and the slight color shift; it’s a little warm. But give it a shot, you may like it! 🫡

I bought two used C100 Mark II a year ago. I work at a local tv and we work with the Canon XF605 & the Sony PXW-Z280, so I have a little bit of something to compare with… Ofcourse the XF605 and the Z280 are modern, gives a more modern look, the XF605 is flat tho… but even if it’s old, I just love the C100 Mark II! From the ergonomics to the workflow, the quality of the image for what you pay, 1080p is fine for 99% of clients out there, just need to pair it good lenses. It’s the best for beginners because it has AF, it’s 2014 great but it’s 2024 horrible so if you’re learning videography, it’s great to learn manual focus, plus there’s all the buttons you would normally on a big ass camera, so if you wanna get real one day… But it’s the kind of camera semi-pros/pros enjoy using because of the little things like its weight, its ergonomics, battery life, inexpensive media, tiny files… and built-in NDs!!!! Don’t buy the technology you don’t need.
