Just discovered this video , but a little too late . I put my cylinder mower into my shed while the grass was wet . Shocked how much corrosion that developed on cylinder and bed knife after winter storage . You are correct the grass clippings are very acidic . Learnt the hard way .

Here in the USA people act like you must have a licensed surveyor to do anything like that they would pay hundreds of dollars to get you to do that here. You show that basic surveying requires just good common sense and a little bit of math. Cheers to you.

I would fold over a piece of newspaper and use that to test the cut, about the only thing the daily fail was good for.

How do you go about grinding the bottom blad with this mower? Do you really need to remove the cilinder to be able to put it in the Bernhard grinder?

Ewan is sitting n my exact old seat, from where I had a close up of Robbo skinning all the best and worst right backs in Europe 45 years ago! Odd isnt it, we had a terrible pitch back then once autumn turned to winter, but won and played some great stuff despite of it. Draw your own conclusions!
