This game came out a couple of months before my mom died. I've always associated the theme of this song with her death. Now that my dad is gone, too, that scene where his dad is dying in his arms and also where he jumps from the ship and high-fives him REALLY hits differently. My dad was my main man. I should dust this game off for a play through to remember the people who brought me into this world.

Well you're asking like 20 times why you are killing the Aeons or why you have to kill the Aeons. The faith has literally brought you here to Spira to find an end to their story. The faith is the Aeons, when they rest, the Aeons will finally rest. They talk about dreaming for a very long time. This story is a means to an end for them, this is when you find out that the main character Tidus is also the faith and is also a means to his end. Yuna thinks it is her story, but it is truly Tidus's and the faith. Final Fantasy 10-2 is Yuna's story and her search to find Tidus again

When you leave to go to Spira for the first time, when Auron arrives at your Stadium at the very beginning of the game. He is pulling us out of the thousand year old dream of Zanarkand. This is why the main character is a dream and he disappears at the end of the game. When this Faith power dies the dream ends, no more thousand year old Zanarkand, no more fireflies when you defeat enemies, no more Spirits living on and turning into fiends. And the evil power that is behind the faith is Yu Yevon. This is why the eternal Calm starts, right after you beat the game. It is sad that the dream is over and her love is gone, but there is so much bad that is permanently gone forever. The end of the cycle what's the main goal even if it wasn't our main goal

The thing most first players don't catch onto and it hits me everytime, is her whistling at the end. Tidus had said "Whistle and i'll come running" and she wants him there. Breaks me everytime.

J'ai fais ce jeu à sa sortie! ok, c'est émouvant ! Mais si vous vous filmiez entrain de chialer , pleurer devant votre TV pendant les infos tragiques, sur des sujets important ; les guerres, la famine, etc.. franchement c'est abusé, juste pour faire des vues? This game just shows how powerful a great story can be. By today’s standards, this game lacks in graphics, game mechanics, etc. But all these new games with their incredible graphics, features and functions typically don’t illicit an emotional connection or an emotional reaction like the one you’d get playing FFX. Storytelling > Everything else

I don't believe you got the reward for dodging over 200 lighting strikes.😏 You should of went back to the chest on this video to see if you actually dodged over 200, because I dodged 205 then I went back and it said I only dodged 20.💯

Sending you a virtual hug, the death of aeons killed me too. I think I cried just as hard as I did during Tidus and Yuna's farewell... edit to my original comment, I think your reaction breaks my heart the most for the aeons. I also noticed the level of HP they all have compared to mine... Yours are easy... mine are going to definitely put up a fight, they all have HP break so I am not looking forward to that!! I am so glad the players get auto-life at the end.

It's hard to explain why I get such joys out of reactions like these. I guess I just enjoy seeing people get real, emotional reactions from one of my all-time favorites. Also, I'm glad you acknowledged Yuna whistling during that final cutscene. A lot of reactions I've watched don't seem to pay it much mind. But she's calling out to Tidus in the best way she knows how (especially since he's technically unnamed). It's very sweet, and very sad.

This game is like an emotional coaster for me..the joy, laughter, friendship, love, loss, and pain all in one package. I could never forget the first time I finished this game seeing Auron fading, then Yuna running through towards Tidus and that speech Yuna gave to his people about the people they lost..the dreams that have faded like everyone is cheering and celebrating yet Yuna is emotional loosing Tidus while not being obvious to the crowd..omg the the way Yuna said that all those things hits different. I can feel how she felt. I was so emotionally attached to all of the characters in FFX. The emotions I felt that I'm about to finish the best RPG game I've played story wise and arguably gameplay too that I wished it would never end..thank you for the Nostalgia. Cheers! Edit: I tried not to cry at first, I lost misserablely and end up crying with heavy tears 😣

I don't know how many time i will say it.. This is the best game I've ever played. Even to this day there is no match for the scenario, the story, the characters, the love story, the symphonies. this game is like a dream
