30 years ago went fishing. Caught a gummy shark. Filetted it. All it was were chunks of meat about to be covered in flour and batter. Some of it was still moving while we did so. I have a photo of that fish somewhere.

For those who don't know in case ur wondering, what's happening is the muscles are contracting due to the presence of salt, muscles use sodium and calcium to allow for contraction and relaxation. In which an influx of sodium will cause them to send an electrical impulse to cause a cascade effect within the muscle cells, leading to what's seen here of the dead meat jumping or moving around. It attests honestly to how fresh it is given the cells are still active enough to contract when stimulated, although I can imagine it was pretty noisy LOL

It looks horrific but it only means it is fresh. 100% guaranteed fresh. A lot of meat production has been removed from the sight of the common people and most people today are only familiar with packaged products that have been sitting perhaps for days since it was butchered, if frozen then even weeks or months. Modern packaging and refrigeration makes it possible to delay the time of consumption a lot, but in exchange most people lost touch to the animals that provide their flesh, and the process of butchering. To a lot of people, cash money comes from an automat, electricity comes from the socket, and food comes from the supermarket.

It makes sense, if everything is pretty much intact, it does have the ability to move, the muscles just usually don't contract when things aren't alive.
