Seizing the Day
My name is Chloe and I'm a primary school teacher in Aotearoa, New Zealand. My husband and I met while both in Teacher's College in Christchurch and we're expecting a little boy in 2020. I have been dealing with epilepsy for almost 10 years and it has had a huge impact on my life.
Having been diagnosed as a young adult, I went through a range of emotions and it took a while to process my new normal. Over the years, I have learnt strategies to deal with my condition that make it easier to function and I want to share these with people who may be facing the same situation.
Now, being an expectant mama, I have had to learn how a whole new set of strategies to keep not only myself but my baby safe.
Now let's connect! I have always made myself open to helping others understand and navigate the journey of epilepsy. Please get in contact if you have a topic you'd like me to cover, to share your own story, or to simply connect. I'd love to hear from you!
