Took me 6 years but I finally beat doom 2016 on ultra nightmare, on controller no less (I had a much easier time with that than keyboard for some reason) 2016 is definitely way harder than eternal but I'm glad I finally fully beaten the game that introduced me to my favorite video game series ever. This stream was a huge inspiration for me to get it done, and now I can consider myself to be one of the cool kids

Hey i was playing doom 2 map 2 and a sg zombie was stuck in the wall and then i was playing tnt map 5 and and imp was stuck in a wall and if they weren't attack they wouldn't wake up and attack why is that. Also man that's a lot of barons/hell knights.

I came here specifically to find the origin of sound # 57 where the pinky is growling while running about but even after this video still a mystery! The first part of that growl could be an animal but it ends with a sound that is in the key of F. I think possibly the same stock sound from BattleToads NES when the spaceship is landing super slowed down could sound like that. Maybe a tropical bird of some sort makes a much higher pitch of that sound, was edited and greatly slowed down.

OMG the original level was called O Of Destruction (some ports call it Circle Of Death) and on Nightmare difficulty this level is HELL! You enter this level low on health and the hitscanners will give you the Romero treatment lol
