My sister lives at this apartment complex, and it is honestly the worst place to live in Lubbock. Her apartment is STILL disgusting from even before she moved in. There are holes in her walls, the carpet is torn apart and dirty, the furniture is literally falling apart, the oven is broken, the microwave is broken, the fan in her room doesn't work, there is NO LOCK on her door, her roommates never got keys to the apartment. This complex is absolutely unacceptable and uninhabitable. It is dangerous for her to be living in these conditions, and after filing MULTIPLE complaints to upper management, nothing has been done. The payment system here is also reproachable- it takes upwards of FOUR WEEKS for a payment to go through (as it is processed by a third party). They then go on to charge the resident outrageous late fees after they have paid their rent weeks ago (upwards of double the rent), because THEY LOSE YOUR PAPERWORK and neglect to tell you that your payment is incurring late fees after you have personally delivered them a check. What an unconventional way to process a payment from the honest residents who are trying to pay their rent!! The Gateway is taking advantage of unsuspecting college populations and raking them over the coals with no inhibitions. Horrible customer service, Horrible maintenance, Horrible place to call home. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. You will absolutely regret it. I will be telling everyone I know about how awful this experience has been. Hopefully the issues can be resolved without legal action, but it has come to a point where no other foreseeable options exist.

I enjoy the awesome amenities too; like the phase 1 pool being closes for the past mouth; and the security guard telling me that I don't live and forcing my parents to back up(there were three cars behind them when they did this.)

Sunal135 this isn't a lie! I live here and it really does have all that I could want in housing. All caps included, my own bathroom, all students, wood floors, a washer and a dryer, and tons of aminities - 3 tennis courts, 3 pools, 3 volleyball courts, a movie room. It's freaking sweet over here... you should check it out!

Almost everything in this video is exaggerated. None of the apartments look that nice. They don't come with tvs, just the table. The projector doesn't work and hasn't in like 7 months. The staff never is on the same page. The printer is always out of ink. The computers all have viruses. As far as covered parking goes, just look up pictures. The blew off in the last storms. The hot tub doesn't work that well. The gym equipment is always broken. Don't waste your money here.
