I’m part Southern Ute, Chiricahua Apache and Dine’. I’m so proud of my Amerindian ancestors. One day I will be there at a Bear Dance. My older sister was at that Bear Dance. She sent me videos. It was her first time at the dance. She had nothing but amazing things to share about her time there. Makes me want to jump in the ride and head out there to Ute Country. Thank you Alex for making these beautiful videos. It only deepens my pride as being part of the Great Southern Ute Nation. Creators blessing to all my people.

Is there anything else that goes on at Bear Dances? For example...vendor booths, foods, artwork displays, etc? Looks rather boring after awhile if no other activities are provided.
@cocoaman4353 ай бұрын
Theirs food stands. Depends on what beardance’s you go to, randlett beardance alwsys has a horse shoe tournament, a day before the beardance, they’ll be hand games. Things like that. If that sparks your intrest, but if knot. Then how you say it… it’s boring. But we all get into it. Thanks for watching. Every beardance is diffrent, they all have activities. Just depends on which one of the many you do attend.
@c.m.redhouse76673 ай бұрын
@@cocoaman435 Thank you for the info. I wish someone could show every angle of the Bear Dance events. I have yet to see anyone post what other activities goes besides dancing at these events. Would be nice, perhaps it would give more interest from people outside the community.
@cocoaman4353 ай бұрын
@@c.m.redhouse7667 that’s a good idea. I just don’t have the intrest to do such things but if I get the chance. I’ll do a lil this year!
