Y'all should get Charleston White on here for these type of important conversations. Not his ignorant character but get him on here and get him to give his game. He has a valuable perspective on these type of topics that involve the dynamics of the black struggle. Great podcast fellas!

I think it depends on the man or woman. If the man or woman has respect for themselves and accepts that it is over even if they still love the other party they will act accordingly. Now if they will not accept that it is over then they will do different things to try to get you back either woman or man.

Right, but the whole point was methodology that guys use versus how women move.

Nah men do this! I’ve had an ex walk straight up to me and my husband. Act all friendly offer to by my man a drink etc. I said no! My husband took the drink. The second my husband went to the bathroom. He was hollering at me like a dog in heat. I called him out and we left immediately. I have many examples of men doing this BS

Nope. Not at all. Dudes are freaking scandalous! I had hooked up with a dude a few months before when I was single & I was walking around the mall with my new BF. Dude sees me holding hands with BF & walks right up to US & SAYS, "Hey, you left your sunglasses at my place" I say ok. He walks away. What a p.o.s. til this day I don't understand why anyone would do that. We weren't serious at all & I was obviously with my bf. He was just trying to be a little bish& start some shit. Thank God my bf didn't trip too hard after I explained it was before I even knew him & thankfully I don't f*ck with that male thot.

JUST A THOUGHT… love the episodes, don’t think they are getting unrelatable whatsoever but maybe once a season you can read people’s relationship dilemmas to make them feel like you are directly helping with advice regarding exact situations without involving details of your relationships? I’m certain your viewers would love it so submit those specifically for your episodes

The teacher thing is inappropriate. The term is grooming. He knows what he was doing thats why he recorded it on live for attention. Unprofessional. Why are you on love and doing your hair at work? Let alone crossing physical boundaries with children?

Ok so I have a bit of a longer dialogue with this one. I like Brent! He has a very safe warm energy ! Like if I had a purse with 10k cash I would leave it by him and go run errands ! I would not think twice about him taking anything lol P.S this goes for all of you ! However I feel like he was a bit reserved in opinion! Apart of me gets it because I know he has to cover his wife ! However there were other topics I feel he was overly conscious on! Like the teacher question he was a little short ! Even when initially asked about Clay! Y’all did a good job at keeping good questions coming ! Especially Jalon ! But that’s apart of the job , some ppl personalities will make it a lil tougher to get in there ! Others will talk so much they do the job for you lol ! At the end it all came together, he showed more of his authenticity! Now with all that being said, please get Tony Gaskins on ! His personality will mesh beautifully with y’all’s ! He’s super opinionated and he will do so good with DEM da rules lol ! Keep goin y’all 🎉🤘🏾

Being Jamaican this is also a problem in our community with the food particularly the seasonings you're absolutely correct. It's all about living off the land. I started to plant my own food about three years now and I'm working hard to make changes in my culture and also teach my children about proper eating to avoid these type of health issues

Love this podcast. I love how Brett was able to speak truthfully yet still protect the inner details about his marriage. Although the way they got married was in an unorthodox way, we must normalize healthy & unproblematic dynamics. I perceived this interview to be more of trying to get insight of the issues/problems, which I understand why… but he reiterated more than once that they didn’t have those issues.

The ending was really good. On community. Need to put myself in spaces as I love to engage with different people but have somehow become this recluse surrounded by my 4 children and I realise that is not sustainable as they have their own friends. Loneliness is not nice.

This conversation was poorly presented and handled. It’s a crazy generalization to say “women aren’t accountable” as if every man is in healthy friendships and takes accountability in all their relationships. Something that’s about maturity and growth being presented as an innate deficit because of gender is quite sexist honestly. Just because some women haven’t found their tribe doesn’t mean it’s non-existent for the rest of us, and just because you’ve experienced women who failed to be accountable doesn’t mean the rest of us are running away from our mistakes and refusing to own them & make changes.

It would have been nice to hear more about Brett’s career, upbringing, how his parents marriage shaped the good good man he is instead of reverting back to LIB constantly or how mature he is for being a caring and confident husband (which we already know)

Goood episode! Though ya'll wanted to stomp Brett soooo bad. LOL! Why do men and women project on others so much? Relatively unproblematic unions do exist. We hear and experience enough of the opposite. Him and Tiff are fortunate to have found what they feel is a worth while match. It helps that they both seem like strong individual characters and respect the other verses trying to change them for their own comfort. And clearly they each weren't for everybody or they wouldn't have taken this avenue. God bless them! 🙏🏾

Y’all are making the teacher and student situation deeper than what it is. You’re looking at from the view point of mischievous men. It shows that you all don’t coach or interact with kids.

@@NiceAndNeatThePodcast and I can completely understand that part. I’m speaking to the point yall made about how he had to coerce or groom the kids to take his hair down. Coaching kids, i can tell you those kids offered. Would it be this much controversy around this topic if they were taking down a woman’s braids ?
@WilliamsPinch3 күн бұрын
I’m a cosmetologist and it is intimate. Our clients are closer to us than their own spouses because touching someone for 30min-2hrs is always intimate. I pray you don’t have children.
@sayonabrown963 күн бұрын
@@WilliamsPinchi didn’t say it wasn’t intimate. Touching anybody in general is intimate. However there are levels to intimacy. Being a person that coach kids, u can say there’s a 90% chance those kids asked to take his hair down. The fact that it was done on live shows how it wasn’t done with ill-intent. Don’t pray negatively over my life. I pray that whatever you pray negatively over me is returned back to you tenfold.
