Dear, to paint MDF is necesary to use a primer first. I just paint it without it and in a couple of months the paint was coming out around the knobs.

We have an under floor heating and a windowless bathroom so I am worried about a damp rug. Of course I would not use it as a bath mat in front of the shower but in front of the sink with a kid playing with water from time to time. After having used it for a while now, can you recommend a rug like this for a bathroom?
