28:23 no she wasn't friends with artists. Her and finneas loved singing and making music since they were kids. Billies dance teacher at that time knew that and she asked them to make song for dance class and finneas had a written for his band (he had a small band with his friends) wich is ocean eyes and thought it will be better in billies voice so he told her to sing it and then they uploaded it on soundcloud for the teacher to find and it kinda blew up overnight and here they are

I get some songs sounding the same on the first listen..I thought the same thing. I think this album is really catered towards and audience who loves that sort of all encompassing sound. And I’m on my 3rd/4th listen and at least to me, each song sounds entirely different now. I still have a problem with Echo…little slow for me

For Cooper: yeah bro, I've been a Denzel fan since nostalgia, I get why you love this album, its hard to explain to people but if you know music, and understand the meaning of this album.. you get it. For Edwin: I totally get what you mean when you say its not bad but it doesn't grab you and you don't really get it. As someone who has this album in his top 10 of all time, I actually see what you feel and I understand. I ain't mad, I get it. And to the sweet Nadia: you wer in the middle of the boys and I see what you saw as well... or heard I guess 😂 the only thing is, when you brought up how some of his bars wer a bit racist... the album is called taboo, thats the point, hes touching on taboo subjects giving taboo bars, like the rape/america bar. Its the point hes getting at. For all: this album is basically Denzel touching on taboo subject of that time, and what he was going through personally. And as for the double names, I heard Denzel on a old interview saying the first name of a track is just the name of it, and the second weird looking version of it is a call back to his come up on SoundCloud back in the day (which is true) Alot of artist wrote tracks and albums like that, it was just a style and a product of the times. So hes just showing love to his roots as an artist.
