Hi Brandon, Shawna works at the College of the North Atlantic in Qatar, so this work wasn't outsourced. She's talking about a leadership team she was a part of there.

Thank you, Michael, Brighton, and the entire team of ethics for sharing valuable insights in this video series. One feedback from my end is that it would be good to have some case studies associated with each standard for better understanding for the coaches. Thanks again for the effort that has gone into creating this video series.

I found this to be a really useful resource to dig into the ethics of coaching. Much appreciated to Brighton and those who commented on each section of the code. This brought a static document to life and made it stick with me much more than just reading. Thanks!!

As I'm now going over the Code of Ethics for my ICF Exam and because I encountered this issue in one of the ICF Mock Exam questions: the ICF Code of Ethics applies when ICF Professionals (=Individuals who represent themselves as an ICF Member or ICF Credential-holder, in roles including but not limited to Coach, Coach Sureprvisor, Mentor Coach, Coach Trainer, and Student of Coaching), represent themselves as such in any kind of coaching-related interaction. In fact, according to the Code, it applies regardless of whether a Coaching Relationship has been established. So, according to this, the Code of Ethics applies to you even if you are ONLY an ICF MEMBER or ICF Staff and even if the Coaching relationship has not been established. Ouf!

As an ICF member, I am embarrassed that the head of our organization didn’t even turn off notifications during a live interview like this. How does this help give coaches credibility in the business world?

Great ressource to understand deeply the code of ethics, in complement of the Insights and Considerations for Ethics (ICE) . Very useful to prepare ICF credential exam by really understandig and making the code of ethics more concrete. Thanks a lot! think I will look at it regularly. I especially appreciated this last video for the presentation of the available ressources for ICF members on ethics topics. We are not alone!!
