The first time my dad told me he was proud of me and that he loved me was two weeks ago. I'm 28. I think I knew he loved me, he showed it in his own ways. But wow that meant so much to me. He had two forms of aggressive cancer and none of the treatments took. I laid next to him at my sisters house just this last Wednesday watching the Olympics. I wanted to tell him how much I loved him, how proud of him I was, and how he shaped me into who I am as a man. But his doctor said he had two months left, and it felt awkward to say these emotional things to him. I decided to tell him later. Just two days later on Friday my sister called me at work, he had declined and was now unresponsive. He passed on Saturday at 11:48am. That whole night he writhed and gargled in pain as we cried and told him it was okay to go. It was horrible watching him go. I hope he heard the words I said to him that night, but I'll never know. He couldn't or didn't acknowledge what any of us said before he passed. Please tell your dad you love him. Yes, he knows you love him. I knew my dad loved me too. But hearing him say it meant the world to me. I love you dad. Sleep tight, I'll see you later. Aloha Ke Akua. May I honor your name.

Gathered a bunch of friends and family to come support you at Billy Bob’s this past weekend. You killed it! When you and the band left the stage and the lights went dim, everyone sh*t their pants including me! I was like dang i didn’t get to hear hardwood floors. My buddies and I started the encore chant and I said “if he comes back and plays hardwood floors i’m gonna lose my sh*t!” and what do you know! What a concert man, you’re one bad mfer🤘🔥 Can’t wait to see you again. Hopefully up a bit closer at a table so I can get a signature! Love your music keep taking over brother! Prayers for you and your family’s well-being and all the progress you’re striving towards! 👏

Your music is amazing. I had the great honor of hearing you open for Luke Combs in OH. Being truthful, I loved every second. My family is from WV and being apart of the mines has been a huge part of my heritage. I’m so thankful they’ve passed those things on to me. Simply, I love your music ❤

My husband and I and our 3 children went to cedar point for a family trip a few weeks ago. It was our last outing as a family (our youngest was going to bootcamp in a few days and our daughter was going on a 1 yr deployment ) on our way home our oldest played this song 🎵. We all immediately got quiet and just vibed out. None of us had ever heard it, but it was familiar. “The good ones always are , u think you’ve heard em before”-Bad Blake

With this guy and the others lately, its like country music is experiencing their grunge type era. What i mean is really good artist and music that came out nowhere and smack everyone upside the head.

Love this song. Born and raised around Seneca Creek! The most peaceful place on the earth. People always looking for stuff to do, but just go outside and take it all in. It’s like a spiritual place, a place where you can be mad, sad, happy, or just irritated. It’s the best place for me for sure. No need to always be doing something “fun”. There’s so much stuff to do and people don’t even know it, because they would rather party and spend money.
