mam I found it in a parajumble question where A,B,C,D are given sentences and we have to correct there sequence.In option D the sentence was like this.. albeit, a study reveals the stress and struggle of the workplace in India. and after reading all ABCD options only D sentence was looking like a introductory sentence so i started with D. so my ques is had i done it wrong? can albeit come with comma as a starter? pls reply

Clap but there is another word, it is applause, i am not sure
@EnglishWithEm
@EnglishWithEm 12 сағат бұрын
Yes! The difference is that 'applause is a noun'. The verb is 'applaud'. It's more formal than 'clap'. We often say 'a round of applause': Let's have a round of applause for our new captain! 😊🌻

Yes! That's basically the same, except that we only use it as an instruction. Everybody, put your hands together for our newest member! You could say, "I'm clapping", but not, "I'm putting my hands together." 😊🌻

@EnglishWithEm 😂, I know, recently I found my mind trapped between the concept of 'habit' ' 'rituals' 'will power' ' free will' ' unconditional love' and 'morphic fields' while trying to fight a swarm of thirsty mosquitos. Has it ever happened to you? Hope you are doing well and that the weather's cooled down in Spain. Have a good weekend.
