Why not do from Kovan to Gardens by the Bay? It will be sufficient to answer this question...cause the first part and the last part of the journey are the same for both routes.

After watching several videos you posted recently, I truly realized the value of MRT : cheap, frequent, no traffic jam, less air pollution, etc. It is definitely my preference for most of cases 😊

One thing I forgot to mention in the video: If you live somewhere in Bedok South or Bayshore, you are recommended to take 12e when travelling to Bugis even after TEL Stage 4 opens (if we ignore frequency and express fares), since it is a quick and direct bus service and these two regions are closer to 12e's express sector.

True, express fares are very expensive for adults, but you can still consider 851e as an option.
