I never knew Mulder was so hilarious till last decade. I don't know why I never saw that. I always saw him as such a sad, sullen guy. And Scully is just so adorable! And so is Gillian Anderson herself! God bless the dynamic duo.

Yess in this scene we see more Gillian than Scully, and it's adorable. Mulder has always been so funny, like his ironic jokes at inappropriate moments that make me feel guilty about laughing or other things that he says, he's great. They are exactly what a person wanna see in a duo, Mulder is funny, Scully serious, Mulder is a believer, Scully is a skeptical. They complete each other like a great puzzle.

@@elisagiambartino3483 I agree with you 100%! In case I forgot to mention, David Duchovny has been my acting idol since the late 1990s. I discovered him on The X-Files and Red Shoe Diaries at around that time. I seriously wish I had discovered him, Gillian and The X-Files sooner than I did. To me The X-Files is an absolute classic!

@@rogerbarrett1979 yeah I totally agree, he's a great actor, Gillian and David are my favorite actors ever. I discovered the XFiles thank to my father, who made me see it like 2 years ago. The XFiles is my favorite tv series, completely amazing. Is Red Shoe Diaries a good show too? 'cause as a fan of DD i heard of it but never watched it

@@elisagiambartino3483 Red Shoe Diaries is a great show. It aired in 1992 and ended in, I think, 1999. Red Shoe Diaries, however, is an adult show. The movie and the series are great. But I must warn you that it's got nudity and sexual content, so I probably shouldn't have mentioned Red Shoe Diaries, especially to a female. I know it's not right to talk to one about stuff like that. My apologies.

I love when Scully laughs and smiles. She rarely does it, especially in the early seasons. It's nice to know that she has this side to her. She doesn't feel the need to be serious all the time.

See, personally, I have to say that I find the line, "you rebel", to be a little cheesy for these two. The fact that Mulder is a rebel is overstated in the series. For Scully to make a point of saying this in a later season, even as a joke, is a little silly to me. You can definitely tell this isn't the usual writing. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge shipper when it comes to this pair, and I love to see them flirty and funny, but this scene is a bit of a stretch.

Well, she is being sarcastic, obviously. Because of all the "rebel things" Mulder did, "defacing U.S. government property" aka ripping a page out of a ledger, is certainly the most un-rebel-y thing he did...;-)
