Thanks Jon! I like watching project videos with the same format so I just followed along. Glad you liked it too! Good luck on your pool build! If you can learn from my mistakes, do not paint the inside of the pool at all with epoxy pool paint. I’ll make a whole update about it soon, but just a heads up! Otherwise I still love having it 2 years later

If I can wear full kit in 120 degree heat and carry a hundred pound pack in Afghanistan, you can wear a shirt while digging a fence post hole.

Being a contractor that’s self employed and taking off your shirt on a hot day is a white people thing. All the Mexicans I’ve ever worked with use long sleeve shirts and a sombrero.

I know im gonna feel the heat foe this one but...is it unprofessional? To me yes. It is unprofessional. Thay being said, i don't necessarily knock anyone for doing so. Myself and my partner wear appropriate clothing to cover up and always have a change of shirt to switch out after lunch because of course the ones we started off with in the morning are soaked. We keep plenty of water, sunflower seeds and oranges or watermelon with us. Water of course for hydration. Sunflower seeds to replace sodium loss through sweating and friut for some vitamin replenishment. Taking off a shirt is not uncommon and i hope not to frowned upon to much. But to answer the question if i think it is unprofessional...it is for our company but, I won't ever tell another person how to run their company. Im in Texas by the way. Hope your business does well and always take care of yourself out there in the heat. It's no joke and have had plenty of people fall out for not thinking about how that heat and what it could do to you. P.s Dont forget to eat some bananas to help prevent cramping.

Yea, 100%. Just look at a Mexican on a construction sight, covered from head to toe in PPE in the same weather on a roof. At least get toned out so you don’t embarrass yourself.

There’s no way you would profit $5000 on a small fence. It may cost $5000, but you might have $4500 other expenses, you would make $500.
@JakeNoahSmith
@JakeNoahSmith Ай бұрын
Fence pricing can be narrowed down to linear footage for cost and profit. All you have to do is find your price/profit range in your area, see how many linear feet you need to build to profit $5K from one fence and only take on work with that amount of linear footage to ensure to $5K goal or whatever your personal goal may be. We’ll help you accomplish this if you’re interested! Reach out to [email protected]
