Each sewing machine is different, so look in your manual to see which stitches you have, then practice them in different widths and lengths to find your favorites. It’s fun!

Excellent idea. Did you use your cutting machine to cut out the applique fabric pieces too? I haven't tried it yet but I have seen videos where they iron the wrong side of the fabric to the waxy side of freezer paper then flip and press the paper side down on the mat before machine cutting. I'm assuming they use a regular mat. My extra sticky mat does not like paper. It wants to keep it. : )

Love the way you do your corners this is different to the way I was taught. Much prefer your method
