I think it was a 9”x11” tin. Best thing to do is place your template on the tin and see if it will be big enough. It really depends on how big you want your shoe to be.

No the tongue is not part of the template, you should have 9 pieces in the package. The tongue is cut to fit your carved shoe, everyone’s shoe will vary in width. So you just need to cut a strip that suits your shoe. The templates are designed to be printed on A4. you can adjust size by enlarging or minimising the print, just make sure you do the same for each page, as they are all in proportion to each other. Hope I am making sense.

Hi The first template on page 1. is the one I use to carve the sides of the cake. Just remember to reverse it when doing the other side of the shoe. Hope this helps

Hi They are isomalt. You melt isomalt into silicone cube trays, allow to cool, then place on cake.

yes I did. Flowers are fresh not edible

It might not hold the rope, as it is a little weighty. You can do it with buttercream but I don’t think with fresh cream

I use any black liquid dye. Sometimes I use gel colours. If it’s too thick I add a drop of clear alcohol to thin it out.
