This is real video and this is what sooner or later every ship will go into. Ship are not sinking so easily luckily, they are designed to sail into rough seas :)

I live in the North Atlantic at 60 Degrees North so I know about rough seas and storms but to see the bow of a VLCC pointing upwards(0:56) is staggering.

It may happens, but weather conditions need to be much worst and the cargo/ballast has to be handled in wrong way. You need both factor, and I would say that the most affecting one is the wrong loading plan for the crude oil/ballast
