August 29th 2024. This song came into my heart immediately after my friend shared with me a story that occurred in their family on July 10th 2021. She and her husband were resting and relaxing away from home at their cabin at a remote location. He was cutting down some trees, at which time he got stung by hornets. He went into anaphylactic shock and for 20 to 25 minutes was without a heartbeat. It was such a remote location that she had to put him on a quad to drive a distance to where the ambulance would be able to meet them. Thankfully, her nurse friend was along on this family retreat and she began CPR. And she was exhausted from performing cpr, her husband took over. Another cabin goer, from a place on the river, showed up on the scene with epipens, and a firefighter was having their annual picnic nearby administered the epipens, which initially got her husband's heart started and opened his airways! At the hospital, she was told he might not make it and if he did he could have brain damage. She and her children locked hands in a circle over him and again prayed. After 2 days, he became conscious, though with some memory loss. Today he is doing well and they are ever so grateful to our God and to the many angels who came in the forms of unexpected help in a great time of need, neighbors, friends, ambulance workers, doctors, nurses, and prayer partners. Each one contributing support in their particular gifting, all from a heart of Love at the right time, in the right moment, at the right place! With her mouth, she is making known HIS faithfulness! And she is singing of the mercies of our Lord with her testimony of faith! Our God answered prayers for their story of LOVE! GOD IS LOVE! AND HE IS FOREVER FAITHFUL!

How many of our modern 'worship' songs are based on scripture...sadly very few. Modern Christian songs really give worship to God. Instead, they bolster ones emotions.
