Spearhead is fantastic. I came from 40k and it was like studying for a college exam every time I tried to play. Then I'd still screw up the rules. Spearhead is fun. Easy to get into and I can play multiple armies for collecting/painting. I'm in love!

It is nice to hear how others are going with their Flesh Eater Courts, I am still working on mine...slowly building Ushoran right now.

People tell me when I complain that FEC is a "glass cannon army". No we arent. we are made of pure tissue. We (FEC)essentially have no battle traits. Don't play thinking you will use ND points because you won't get them to actually use them. and when you do get 6 on some heroes, what can we do with it? give 1 extra attack to everything? yahoo! giving 1 extra attack to shit units that hit on 4's and have no rend. or bring back half a shit unit or muster a few shit models. none of those options are worth it. my opponent looks at my horrors they die, he looks at my ghouls they die, my morbhegs live a little and they are the ONLY good unit aside from big USH. but everything they touch just dies and dies and dies. I shelved this army for 2 years and I'm sad because I'm about to shelve it again.

FeC feel underwhelming. Played them since their drop in 2019, I wish we could just have our 2.0 model recursion back instead of this sub-game we have to play inside the game with heroes that don't actually want to be in combat. I feel like i'm one of the few, but I really didn't like NDP stipulations to begin with and now we have less ways of generating NDP outside of Cardinals.

I play flesheater courts. My first RTT in 4th I played against nighthaunt 3 times in a row which feels borderline unplayable for our army. And my last opponent was captain for team USA Noah Singh. Fantastic dude. But man that was a BRUTAL RTT

Glad you had fun, we're all figuring it out as we go. My main impression at the moment is that casters are really important this time around, taking at least one level two seems essential. Saying that I'm sure we'll see some changes when they do the 3 month rules review. In the meantime I'll just carry on painting up models and learning the rules. Also I agree - the AoS community is the best 😊

Charging Usharon into Brokk and the frigate was a large crap shoot considering Usharon only had 8 health left. Definitely wasn't expecting the center to tar pit for the next pair of turns.

I also played Daughters of khaine that tournament. i think my score was 38-40. very close game and you are right his army was a glass cannon

so long as you had fun that's all that matters.

The prayer Blessed Feast only heals wounded soldiers, it cannot bring them back from the dead. The Herald of our majesty is invisible even in combat and therefore can smite our enemies with no retaliation (see core rule book - picking target 16.0), and lastly sadly our royal guard cannot protect his majesty’s throne. I hope this has helped you in your quest. I look forward to hearing many stories of your crusades.

good job on your first game but read the battle plan, You can only score a max of 6 points on objectives. There are a couple of other battle plans that have that same limitation so be aware.

im thinking for months now about getting into tabletop. spearhead and warcry really caught my interest. but i dont know anyone who play it and i dont know what my local GW does for torneys and stuff... but sylvaneth and deepkin rly looks cool, just scared of the assembling and painting. so many obstacles when your friends dont even play.

Why not just reinforce the one Ghoul block and go Lords of the Manor? (I mean, you can still swing with all 40 Ghouls at one go)

Great looking army. But blessed feast does not return dead models. It only heals damage allocated to the unit. You can't return ghouls with this.

Played my first game of Spearhead last night. Giants vs deepkin. Giants seemed more than a little overpowered, but I had fun and want to play the game format. So it did its job.

Currently playing GSC in 40k and its been miserable. Finally decided to buy a gitz spearhead box because i've always loved the minis and i cannot wait to give spearhead a go. 40k has gotten way too competitive and meta heavy. Friends of mine have said nothing but positive things about spearhead so it might be the palate cleanser i need.

Convinced me to buy in, Fyreslayers here we come. 40k melts my brain so often that a system capable multiple rounds a night sounds great

I dont't know if you care for comments like this but, enjoy you talking about gaming elitism and saying exactly what should be said about it. Thanks for clarfying there are similarities and that the games can be quick. With a small amount of research you could have added a few more things like you move the same in movement phase, its a table top! Think letting people know its not a scarey different thing is important and i feel you was making effort to tell people that. Showing off some of your models for sigmar as an extra point to getting it could have been cool too because omg they have great models! Wouldnt go as far as saying you need better producation cause that would be asking too much just a little list of things you wanna address in a video with some facts sprinkled in and i think it would be even better than it was! Great video lovely personality and very well spoken on camera. Hope if you enjoy this youtube thing you take it far i think in this space you really have a shot :) much love

After GW killed my SCE army l am not sure what could be a fun army , which isn't under the risk of being removed before l can collect a full army.

Nighthaunt, Slaves to Darkness, and Blades of Khorne. Nighthaunt being able to charge while they are in combat is so fun! The two chaos factions just look strong!

Hate to tell you but Beasts of Chaos are being removed from Age of Sigmar and relegated to the Old World. No BoC in 4th.

I love this type of content & AOS, Sylvaneth are a great pick. Sylvaneth, Beasts of Chaos & Flesh Eater Courts are my largest armies. I blame growing up with pokemon for making me want to collect them all.

For my top 3 Kharadron Overlords, Nighthaunt and Ossiarch Bonereapers... I like the movement of KO and Nighthaunt, who has that charge after a run/retreat battle formation.. I will be running KO for 4th, but a Nighthaunt army looks like fun as well...

Replace your third choice with Stormcast Eternals and we’re on the same wavelength. 😄⚡️ But yeah hoping BoC get some decent rules for a nice finale before they’re herded out and end up Darkoath proxies. I imagine they’ll keep their heavy Rend powers since that’s super rare to get a bonus on now and with them a half-edition force won’t hurt the meta balance by being crazy on it.

It affects everybody maybe aside from those guys who just glue n game 😂 its also probably how games workshop keep on making money off of you the best way is to try n get things out the way 1st try n dont fiddle with it sub assembly helps n try to paint eyes or teeth 1st difficult parts etc n also the equipment you use aslo makes a big difference
