Totaly wrong. My mother had Alzheimer’s and my father was the classic denier about her condition.. No difference here. You think this man actually wanted his fans to see him like this? No. They led him into it.

shouldn’t have let someone in this condition on stage. he probably didn’t fully understand his surroundings anymore; there’s something off to me about having someone who doesn’t fully know what’s going on still perform… even if he hadn’t been diagnosed at this point, people around him could probably still tell something’s up… but take my opinion with a grain of salt bc i’m no expert on dementia. just some loser w a wifi connection

His family should be ashamed for agreeing / allowing him to do this. I’ve been down this road as my mother and father in law both had Alzheimer’s at the same time. And if anyone says he wanted this. Wrong…

Hard to watch this without a tear in your eye. Even in his incredibly diminished state, this song - the finest he wrote, one of the finest EVER written - did not betray him. Brian, you've done enough for all of us. Time to rest.

Brian Wilson is a national treasure. This is so sad to watch, and I feel terrible for the ones who truly care about him; especially Al Jardine, who has stood by his friend all these decades. I know it's hard for them to watch the candle slowly burn out. I've been there. It's one of the most heartbreaking feelings in the world. I don't know what Brian's state of mind is, but I know music is the best medicine and being surrounded by it is better than the loneliness and seclusion of sitting home. Thank you Brian and Al for sharing your talents. Your contributions are the reason for so many of our good times and memories.

How dare they put him in that condition on stage. He's emotionless, arms down to side, and sounds like he's being forced to "sing". I love the beach boys and their legacy, but someone was pushing him to perform for the money. This is just so very wrong and is total exploitation

Thay guy in blue singing and all his band in general having a ball wtf it just looks creepy
@runnersdialzero12445 ай бұрын
They're just trying to keep the ball rolling and be supportive, not "have a ball." That's all they really could do aside from just stopping mid-song and shutting it all down immediately, which probably would've been worse. It's really unfortunate, I wish people hadn't kept Brian going on and on with touring when it's been obvious he's been over it for a decade or more and never liked it much to begin with. His wife just passed, I hope he's able to recover to one extent or another and live the rest of his life as peacefully as he can. The guy in blue is Matt Jardine, by the way. He's Al's son who's been performing with The Beach Boys and/or Brian for decades now.
@obsidianobserver4 ай бұрын
The drummers just looked bored and concerned and Al Jardine looked like he was trying to have a positive spin on the situation. An interview with one of the band members came out a while ago, in which he said during this tour the entire band was really concerned and felt bad for both Brian and the audiences, but all they could do is to keep the show rolling for the people that paid to watch them, so that's what they did.
@runnersdialzero12442 ай бұрын
@@obsidianobserver that's so depressing, especially now knowing Brian is dealing with dementia. It's not my business, but I hope he's being kept comfortable and is enjoying what he can.
