We make the most of our time out on our land and we are there as much as we can be in the Spring thru Fall. But also being modern Vikings we live a modern life most of the week and head out every weekend. Maybe someday we will have a structure we can heat but for now everything closes down during the winter season.

Line wrap the log so it doesn’t fall when you split it. That way you don’t have to find and set the pieces upright each time. Same techniques but faster results

Thank you! Lanen says this came from In Celebration of Plain Weave by Annie Machale. She took one of her patterns and changed up the color scheme. If you look in our video library there should be a basic inkle weaving full video there where she walks you through and shows off the book. You can purchase the book at the following link! I would use a post it note for my pattern and I would use it above the pick I’m working so i could see how the current pick will line up with the previous picks. You have no reference if you are looking at picks that don’t yet exist.

Ikr? I do that on all my patterns such as knitting. It’s just confusing to compare the row you’re working with a row that isn’t there. Comparing with the previous row gives you a view of where your color will line up with what’s already there. Glad I could help!❤
