Just listened to other maestros, but noone does justice to the raag like this one.. Tai’s starkly sparing use of Sa (the essence of Marwa) creates such an imbalance in the raag, anchoring the raag on dha and re samvaad, with extreme strategic touching of sa creating a “quench the thirst” moments is unimaginable genius! @arundravid

Who am I to comment on this singing by the Goddess? We are lucky that such recordings are preserved and shared by generous people like Dipnkar-ji. I had the great fortune of listening to the same Todi by Kishori-tai live in 2001. I still get mesmerized when I remember that day.
