I remember in the late 80s people were making such a fuss about Casablanca getting colorized, saying it would ruin the movie because it wouldn't be a classic anymore. I think its a good thing.

Nice try. But somehow old movies like this deserve to be in B&W; It gives them a natural `newsreel' look. For the same reason, I wouldn't care to see British war movies coloured. Life seemed to be black and white back then - in more ways than one...

Ha Ha the black/white version was far more interesting...If Brian Donlevy had his white handkerchief in is jacket pocket they wouldn't have trashed him as bad...Love the horrible acting, and mindlless script.
