If you have finished the 2nd era of scribing with alt characters you should absolutely be able to use your banked scripts with them.

@@ExplorationGamingESO Yeah, might not be worth it. I'll have to do a more thorough comparison of the passives, because the loss of dps and stamina recovery could outweigh the added health benefits. I'm guessing they would.

rare, yes...broken, no. ZOS is addressing the problem, as they have repeatedly stated. "people who don't farm are broken" seems a bit harsh, don't you think? Maybe its time to touch grass.

@ExplorationGamingESO Dude, people don't farm. They go out and grab about 10 nodes and they get outraged that they don't somehow have hundreds of inks. This grind is so much easier than nirncrux was. Just since I made that comment I went to Arteum to grind some scrying on a new toon and pulled 4 inks in about an hour. Anyone that has played this game for years knows the playerbase loves nothing more than to piss and moan about pretty much everything. Rare drops should be rare.

ZOS says ink ONLY drops after alts have done 2nd era of scribing (1st quest)

@@ExplorationGamingESO I promise you - take an alt to the northern passage in Necrom (enter via docks or outlaw's den near the fence Meryn Dalobar). There are 160 urns, and your first run will have 120ish lootable, 2nd run has 90-ish, and so on. Since everything is marked stolen, you'll have to fence it before it transfers to your Crafting Bag, so it's trackable. After 5-6 runs (I switch alts every second run to make the time spent worthwhile) you should have at least one. Takes about half an hour. And since the passageway seems to be an individual instance, doesn't matter how many other players are there, they can't take the items you'd get and vice versa. I'd been using it to work on my Black Market Mogul achievement when I noticed the inks dropping for my alts who hadn't even been to West Weald yet, let alone started the Scribing questline.

Actually, it works without the scribed spell, but get the macabre vintage armor...it's fun.

My original advice to people was to do the quests and dailies and wait on the entire scribing fiasco...I'm just doing scribing-related videos because people are asking so many questions about the new system.

was this an alt character you were on? Once you finish the quests with 1 character, you only need to finish the 2nd era of scribing with all alternates to be eligible for the drops.

@@ExplorationGamingESO It's just what I noticed. I was getting ink doing the dolmen run and then it stopped, haven't gotten any ink in a couple days now, anywhere. Went and did a group dungeon solo, nothing. Got some decent loot but not a single ink in sight.

that prize goes to High Isle and the release of Tales of Tribute. The same boring players (about 2 dozen of them) are the only ones who play ToT...and the rewards are a joke.

Am I reading a slight amount of sarcasm in your comment? We do content for all levels of players, especially newer ones. Some of these tips may seem obvious to veteran players (farm at night, etc.) but people just coming into the game are LEARNING.

EU server I'm assuming. 3 a day is not too shabby, unfortunately we all can't make that claim.

@@ExplorationGamingESOI’m on PSN NA. So economy is different. But yes 3 a day with a pretty high #hours Im hoping the drops increase soon. I also do like that of you make a skill and want to change 1 script. It only cost 1 ink. That makes it easier to customize what you want on a skill to fit your group.

the changing out 1 skill for 1 ink is the best thing about the system.
