The grip makes so much sense to me now. I understand why its hard to describe. The best way to explain it would be your hands are in the perfect position now to start braiding normally. Literally its just securing the grip thats the challenge.

yes!!!!!! this 100% if youre doing it for the first time it will not be perfect, but through time, you will get it! 🩷🙏🏾

My mom taught me when i was little by labeling each strand: strand a, b , and c. She said, "you put A over B. Then C over B. And repeat. " that was enough to teach me

I had a friend that would do my hair and always would try out the most random stuff on my head. Normally it would come out amazing, but the last time she did my hair it was something that I have told her I don't like at all. She also asked me to pay her for the style. This has been extremely helpful!!! If I could afford it, I would totally just send you money to facetime me and walk me through things. Thank you for being amazing!!!

Hi, i am going to try this 😅 when do you take the braids out? After how many weeks? i assume you also wash it in the meantime? I know people who leave them in for so long 😅 and it's even getting messy afterwards. I have 4a hairtype. You did not blow dry your hair first correct? Is that even needed? Thnx again
@macoyahКүн бұрын
after a month! (speaking for myself at least.) i blow dryed my hair off camera! i wanted to just capture the essence of braiding

Great job explaining. How many packs did you use and what was the brand? It looked like it dipped well 😊 I’ve been braiding my hair for years, but I get lazy. I usually just do box braids in the front and cornrows in the back. It goes by much faster.

i used roughly 2 1/2 packs! :) the brand was xpression! 💕
