One thing confuses me ... i build up my kniwledge step by step, and need to verify/prove my knowledge as part of each before i can take the next step ...so. You say a router is needed to communicate between subnet and also that the access to the wan is via a router. Could you have all 3 subnets use that one router, in a star shape, or must there be a separate router for each subnet? In your diagram, you show the wan router as part of only one subnet ... therefore surely messages from the other two subnets MUST travel through its subnet to get to it? (Or is that using a special router-router message type, so the pcs dont see it?

These days, there are also Fiber Modems with ONTs (Optical Network Terminals) that can translate the optical laser signals back into the digital binary data that the modem can process. It has a lot less latency as the signals travel at the speed of light instead of the speed of sound, and also can connect directly to the central ISP facilities without the need for signal amplifiers or multiple substations.

What a simple way to explain something that could be complicated! Just like resuming a 100 pages book in 10.

Whoever watching this , i have a question. So the VPN server can leak the data if they want. They can collect the information too. Isn't it . So whats the difference of using them or not (In terms of being anonymous).

Hard to imagine a better, more understandable, logically organized presentation than this! Excellent; many thanks!! Even if you already sort-of know this stuff, it's easy to forget the hierarchy and the sequence of development of these displays. We become victims of jargon, and this video puts things in order and makes it easy to understand.

now the question is that we dont configure port forwarding by default yet we still can access and get answers from the servers on the internet. so why do i have to configure it manually if it is kinda automatic by default?

For the subnetting portion starting at 1:13:35, for the amount of subnets, it's 2**n, right? Not 2**n-2. 2**n-2 is for the amount of available hosts, not the amount of subnets; am I right? Hoping someone can confirm because that section of the video seems to be calculating the AMOUNT of subnets with 2**n-2. Someone let me know if this doesn't make sense.
