I was really intrigued by your products, so I bought one of the 21.5" POE monitors (not with the decoder). I think you guys are going in a great and unique direction, but I can't buy any more products for a few reasons: 1. These look like 10-15 year old flat screens, with their big bezels, which cheapens the feel. 2. This spot monitor only supports 8 feeds instead of filling the screen up with 9, which would drive me crazy. 3. It has buttons on the front, which is just begging the public to play with them. Put your system's guts (with a 9 camera upgrade) into a sleek, modern looking monitor, and I'll be in line for 10+ of them.

Hello and thank yo for your purchase and your review. I agree with all your statements. Our newest monitors will have a much sleeker bezel and you will have the option to put in many more decoders, including 16 and 32 channels. You can check out our 27" version here to get an idea of what the direction we are going. As you can see, it solves many of the design issues you stated: ipcampower.com/collections/poe-monitors/products/copy-of-ipcampower-21-5-poe-powered-cctv-spot-monitor-with-integrated-8-channel-ip-camera-decoder-compatible-w-most-ip-cameras-built-in-speakers-vesa-public-view-and-secondary-monitor-pvm-1080p-ipcp-spotmonitor

@@ipcampower3506 Can you please clarify expected date of releasing the new monitors you mention above? There is a project for start of 2025 for three of our vessels and are checking for all options available, bringing us to you / above product that is interesting. We would like to test the new monitor prior deploying it. If you have a test unit to offer we would appreciate it. Also to clarify if feasible if this will be a touch monitor.

You don't even need that splitter. This only works because most IP Cameras are 100Mbit which only requires 4 of 8 wires. The mode switches are to accommodate 568A and 568B wiring schemes. Ideally you would run an additional cable (use the existing to pull 2 new through), but this does work.

Thanks for the comment! We think it's great for existing installs where you need to add another nearby camera, similar to the one mentioned in the video.

@@ipcampower3506 don't get me wrong, I know how to wire it up without that splitter and I'd be inclined to buy it anyway to save the hassle.

Will def be trying this out next time i need a 60w switch. Only if these had some simple managed ability. I'm big on UniFi for IP cams just because from my phone i can 1) see if the switch is even working remotely and 2) power cycle a single port or the whole switch with the ability to power cycle all PoE's or not. It just makes troubleshooting so much easier to be able to know if that switch is 1) properly working by being able to log into it and 2) easily power cycle a single port if say just one camera isn't work without having to go onsite to a client. I can see myself using this more so to power 4 Unifi Flex switches with 4 normal PoE cameras on those switches. Much cheaper than buying a Unifi 8 port PoE++ Switch if all I need is power.
