I am so incredibly interested in this. I did ceramics as a kid and wish I had the space to do it as an adult in my home. The horse hair ones are so beautiful! Just found your page and I’m enjoying going through your videos !

I'm trying to see what my glazes will look like. The only one we share is Sunspot, which came out better than the online pics 👍. Did you notice how runny these are? I know firing schedules will affect the results but ballpark how runny do you find Spectrum Raku glazes to be? How much of a margin would you leave at the bottom?
@nicolamoorestudio18 күн бұрын
@@jseal21 I haven’t actually had a problem with them running too much. Compared to other glazes. I’m firing to around cone 5.5…

Yes definitely . I would like to have a little shop in front of my studio and put things out as the mood strikes me, when I feel ready to let go of something it could be available for a few days … then I would live with them again .

what is this ? called ? is this earthen clay , pircelain, Fimo? Sculpey ? what kind of vessel ?
@nicolamoorestudio18 күн бұрын
@@gailalbers1430 I think I made these from mid fire b mix… but any normal clay body will do. They just need to be bisqued. (Not fimo or sculpey) For more info on the microwave kiln : nicolamoorestudio.teachable.com/p/how-to-fire-pottery-in-a-microwave

Does this have a glaze on it that activates because of the torch? And do you let them just cool down in the air?

So the reason it works is normally they want you to both to steal and convince each other that you’re going to split. But when you tell them you’re going to 100% steal it they have to hope on the chance that they get money by choosing split Versus guarantee, they will receive nothing if they choose steal
