The bear on the flatbed I believe was killed by a truck about 8-10 miles west of Lincoln Montana and is now on display at the U.S. Forest Office in Lincon Mt.. My wife and her sisters watched as it was loaded on the truck,

What’s the point of Moodie station? I can see it being used a lot by DND and Nortel back in the day but it’s still kind of a far walk from it. Besides that it’s just empty fields. But with the fact that it’s going to be the western terminus for stage 2 it seems weird that it would be so empty. Are they planning on developing this area in the future once the LRT station opens?

No plans to build anything there that I know of. Moodie station serves DND but it's a l-o-n-g walk so most LRT DND employees would take the shuttle, prolonging their commute. Lots of crazy decisions here: nimbyism and political horse trading: bellscorners.wordpress.com/2017/06/15/not-in-my-backyard-3/ Moodie is the Western terminus for stage 2 + the storage and maintenance sheds. Some of the suburban councillors wanted a parking garage (on NCC/Wesley Clover land) but that was nixed (thankfully).

You can't relocate Brown Bears. They come back and cause even more problem then before. They have tried moving bears as far as 400 miles away They still find their way back. So now they euthanize them.

I used to go to the Vox foam dance parties years ago (which sound so dangerous to me that I'm older, haha). I live right near here now, and it feels odd to walk my dog in the field of where it used to be. Hooters was down the road near Crappy Tire. At least a Tims is there now. Petro has done absolutely nothing with this land. Bells Corners has boomed since, we should get something useful or fun going in there.

a bit of paint on the road is not going to stop a ford f-150 from plowing into a cyclist. It’s frowned upon to cycle on the sidewalk but that’s often the safest option. we need bike lanes separated by a curb at least for it to be effective enough to see regular bicycle ridership. these excuses for bike lanes get used so rarely because they’re so dangerous and then are used for arguments as to why a city doesn’t need bike lanes because not a lot of people use them.

In Ontario drivers MUST keep at least a one-metre (3 feet) distance when passing people cycling and bike lanes should measure 1.8 metres wide, and no less than 1.5 metres.
