If build a transfer case, i would want to add gears to it, besides 2&4wd, hi & lo, a 🐢 ultra low gear. + Low gear, medium, 1:1, then a 10% , 20%, 35% 50% over drive ratios, along with a 2wd only, 4wd only, a separate shifter for 2&4wd. Basically a 5-speed transmission bolted in a 5speed transmission,with a few extra gears added. then the 1 transmissions gears can be split. 1st gear, +low,med ,high, 2nd,+low ,med,hi , 3rd +L. ,M. Hi 4th, +L,M,Hi., 5th+ L,M,Hi. Then the other 5gear, 15 gears + another overdrive gear!😮 It would be like a semi truck. Only more like a 1/4ton truck over loaded and under powered! Allowing a 10hp Diesel engine to carry the truck loaded, it may run like a Hurd of turtles, but it would climb a tree, if it had traction.. i do want to build a tractor, 4x4, micro tractor , with 33"x12.5" tires , and debating on the engine, either a 5-10 hp mower style engine or a car engine. From 2.2 litre 4cyl, to 4.0L v6. Or electric using forklift motor, 10-12 kw. x 2, one can be used as the PTO, or shifted to power the tractor. Id build it with 4wheel steering with a short wheel base.
