I have the original somewhere, anyway I recognize it, use 'Isla Moos'. You need first to warm up your voice, then you need the power to fly after that you will be happy, listen to the elder, listen to your voice, love you guys. River deep mountain high...

This is horrible, I feared this would happen one day. Shame to the person that caused this, sickening..none of that should be brought to powwows. At this point they need airport security to make sure no one brings that stuff.

How is there not even a mention anywhere in the news about this!? This is terrifying and i am so sorry for this awful turn of events! Prayers and blessing for those that were there and the little ones. And to those who are injured and still fighting!! This is so sad.

Powwows are a place of healing. Those young girls dancing will have that horrible memory, a memory echoed from our ancestors who ran for their lives. 😢 prayers for peace to their spirit and prayers for those involved in the shooting. There is no safe place anymore for people to come together, that illusion was shattered by gunfire. 😔 As native peoples we must collectively pray to reclaim our circle.

This was a beautiful night and an excellent video! But the horror of seeing our young ones running for their life is a historic moment. Running in regalia from the sounds of gunfire is a sight generations have not seen. Violence has never been a part of powwow. Praying for healing through powwow to return to the Oglala Nation soon. Immediate justice for those impacted and who now have to suffer the memory of tonight. 🙏🪶🌿
