I have spent so many nights out like that, Trond, that I felt like I was there with you. The pictures of the woodpecker were beautiful.

Can we agree that you are very inspired by the nature photographer Morten Hilmer and his KZfaq channel. I see a lot of similarities in your videos in terms of subject choice as well as destinations. But okay - it's your own choice to follow in other people's footsteps instead of creating your own...

I like your work and ethic of working on truly wild subjects, but….I’m uneasy with how you describe this as critically endangered due to habitat loss, but then show us you stripping bark from standing dead wood. That is where the invertebrates the bird feeds on live! That is habitat destruction. Or did you do that somewhere else that is away from where the bird does or could live? I welcome your thoughts.

I love the white-backed woodpecker. They are very rare in Poland. In May, I had the opportunity to observe one in the Białowieża Forest from a distance of several meters when it was looking for insect larvae in rotten wood. Amazing experience. Thank you for the video and best regards!

Great flying shots that I think take good planning and execution to get. You know how to enjoy life in nature and bring it to us in a way that makes us wish we were there also. Keep that z9 working overtime.

Hey there, i just traded my Zf in for the Z6iii for the better ergonomics. But… though i am not a big video guy, i just need an all a rounder camera for wildlife (flying, running, and stills) and for landscape. I am not a professional, but i like good quality images so i can print and post on social media. Will this Z6iii (even though so many people say DR is bad) would it be good for a wildlife, nature, landscape camera? I don’t have a big budget, just want a camera that is great for what i do.

I've come to believe that a fixed focal length "prime" lens is just too restrictive. I feel like I've done just about all I can with my 800 F11's. My subjects might be tiny, or they might be big, and they might show up 15ft from me.... or 50ft. I believe that the Canon RF 200-800 is the best lens on the market, for birding, by any company. They just need to make the darn things more available ! Urggg,... As for bodies, for the small, often skittish birds that I chase, I need the 60% additional reach of an APS-C body. So for now, in spite of all its weaknesses, and their are several, the R7 is not just my best choice... It's my "only" choice. I'm very hopeful that the R7 Mk II addresses most / all of those weaknesses. I guess if I had to switch brands, the Olympus OM 1 + the 150-600 (300-1200) might be my next choice. Seen some fine stuff out of that combo, too.
