Hi Guys how are you. Enjoy your videos but would love to see in particular areas mentioned below. I was born in Nairobi in-the 1960s and left in 1975. I have so many beautiful memories. Unfortunately all the videos of Nairobi particularly the suburbs such as South C, Lavington and hurlingham are very limited because they only show the road which is very boring. You don’t show any actual homes or landmark places. I don’t want to look at the road or the ditches or the rubbish. Would love to see the old hurlingham shops, the house behind the old hurlingham shops was owned by my grandfather. Would love to see convent drive Lavington as we lived there. I believe our house is now a consulate home. Love to see the Kilimani primary school. If you can show these places. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Great video, but sometime I wonder when these highways are tarmacked, don't they need a well thought out planning because that highway, Waiyaki way needs pedestrian bridges in some areas, Its too dangerous for pedestrians to be crossing while vehicles are moving at high speed. I do not get this!

The Thika -Githumu-Kangare-Kinyona route is shorter and smoother. The Arberdare Bongo Eco Lodge is a very good stopover for meals and warm clean cozy cottages to rejuvenate and re energize before embarking on your journey upwards and back. Very affordable, not to mention the tour guides who know the bush tracks inside the forest very well. So please reach out and you'll be well guided and warmly welcomed. They also have a bonfire to keep you warm as you roast maize and ngwaci and hear tales of friendly leopards and elephants by a very seasoned story teller😅😅😂😂

Next time use Thika - Githumu - Kangare - Kinyona route. Tarmac all the way to the Kinyona - Gatare forest gate Also get some insights before your travel. There is an Ecolodge by the name Arbardare Bongo Ecolodge - Gatare, approximately 7kms inside the forest, at the sight of the former Gatare village that used to host forest workers and KWS/KFS offuces/officers However, you'll still need a 4×4 for now from the forest gate as the roads are wet in this season.

@@ShiftingNews Actually another interesting story, the first person who made the hand carts (Mkokoteni) is from Ngaburi that is the shopping center between Muthithi and Kirere, a very wealthy man almost a billionaire. He was the man who introduced the first Mkokoteni in Nairobi and was the owner of all those mkokoteni you see in Nairobi back in 1960 and 1970s , he owned them and also leased them in early 1960's to 1970's, the guy also had 28 cars operating as taxis in 1972, he is a family relative so I know him very well.
