The thing that scared me the absolute most as a kid was when the power went out late at night, when i was sitting out in the living room. When it went off it felt like i was transported to some evil version of our universe for some reason, i was walking around really slowly in the dark trying not to make a noise because i thought if i did some evil ass demon or something would leap out and kill me. Anyway, as i approached my parent’s room the power came back on and everything went back to normal, as if nothing happened.
