How do I get KZfaq or Netflix sound to work through the app?
@readyrig4x4Ай бұрын
Plug an AUX cord into the regular AUX port. Nothing needs to be plugged into the other end. It just tricks the system to play sound as if it was auxiliary.

Any reason why you changed your roof rack and KC lights?
@readyrig4x42 ай бұрын
Yes, I loved those lights, but I wanted to create my own look. Plus, the glare I got off of the windshield was crazy. In my opinion, 2 amber lights down low (on the bumper or grill) are better than any amount of lights on the roof.

Hey there I've seen a few of your videos I'm a fellow ZR2 man I'm about to throw 37s on mine I've got the 4-in BDS plus the 1.5 body plus a 1.5 level kit I'm wondering if I can get away without spacers on a stock wheel?? Currently running the 1.5 wheel spacer if I take that out of the equation I think my tire will have less chance of catching on the back of the fender. If you have any input it be much appreciated!!

The 9” was first offered in 1957 and the 10.5” 14FF in 1973 so your statement of the 9” getting the patent from it doesn’t hold water. Besides there are many different makes and models that have used a removable pinion support setup…. GM did not own that design feature.

14 bolt is based off of the Eaton ho52 / ho72 axle , used from the 40s up until 72 I believe. Can find them in lots of 3/4 and 1 ton gm trucks. Thats what the ford 9 is based off of as well. You can interchange the side gears and 14 bolts shafts in an Eaton . They have better clearance than a 14 bolt and have a drop out 3rd. A lot of people like the ho72 because it has a load bolt preventing pinion deflection even more than the 3rd bearing so it's bomb proof. They also came with Detroits. Lots of tech info on them online they're very cool!
@readyrig4x43 ай бұрын
Yes!!! You are 100% correct. I have a buddy that has a spare ho72 and was thinking of adapting that into my front

What's the part number on those spacer and the universal I'm looking to do the same swap with a ARB air locker. Hoping the wiring will be simple enough to maintain the selectable diff lock switch. Also looking into doing a shave as well and converting to either a 13 bolt or 15 bolt depending on the kit I go with. Love the channel and all your great RND work for these trucks thanks for being a pioneer !!!
