Thanks for your great info, sir. As you were mentioning about being multidimensional, I am doing my 4th year in aerospace engineering but I am really interested in finance and investment stuff and want to shift my background from engineering to finance. Is there any way I could pursue this dream other than MBA or CFA, like to get a job in the banking or finance side, if not a job or atleast an intern in some finance companies what skills do they expect. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mister Khalife, when would you consider it to late to start an MBA ?
@GeorgeKhalife4 жыл бұрын
Yan there isn’t really a timeline in my opinion, it varies based on every person and what your goals are/ where you currently are in your career. I know people who have done it in their 30’s after getting some experience and feel like getting an MBA will help them get to the next level. I believe it’s better to get some experience first before going from bachelors to graduate program right away. I’d also say go to a different school and try to target a higher-tier school to benefit from the alum network, and an MBA is typically more of an asset for people with non business backgrounds ie; an engineer who wants to get to managerial level, decides to pursue the MBA. In today’s environment, might not be worth the dollar to cost. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps.

I find you very inspiring and wish I had a mentor like you earlier on in my career which I never got. Anyways I just wanted to say that your advice seems to be more for people who have already made it and are trying to shift the dynamics of their well established careers so people like entrepreneurs, startup founders, investors etc. I dont see myself in that boat at all. In fact, I am sailing the 'loser' boat lol. This is for people who feel stuck in their careers and looking for better career opportunities. For instance, I was an average student in university and don't have clear goals on what I want to do. I feel stuck doing menial administrative jobs and and just want a more fulfilling career and I'd be happy with a job that pays $60-$70K. How do I go about finding and securing a good opportunity in the corporate sector given the lack of proper work experience? What advice would you give to people who feel stuck in dead end administrative jobs looking to breakout and would you consider doing an episode on your channel on this topic? Thank you

Thanks for being open and sharing that - it's always a good thing to acknowledge where you are and want to get to. I'll make a video addressing this very topic - stay tuned, it'll be out shortly!
