He makes a joke about most musicians and artists not writing their own autobiographies EVEN THOUGH they're being sold as such because "they were too fucked up back then to remember anything". No, they remembered it to tell the ghost writer who then put it into the book. No, Dee Snider is more than just a frontman of a metal band, the dude is legitimately smart. I was never a huge Twisted Sister fan but I will never have anything but respect for him after seeing how prepared and effective he was at a goddamn Senate hearing that probably had an effect on music forever after, as far as censorship and all was concerned.

Oh come on though...white tux with a martini on the street in the daytime?... I went out in my horse riding clothes on Halloween, probably smelled like horse sweat and was surely a bit dirty but I was surrounded by men. Most any man reading that will immediately get why. Tux guy = lingerie on Halloween.

I watched the PUA back when it aired. Last year I was cheated on. It happened just after my mom died in my arms. 2 months prior a mentor of mine committed suicide. The day after my mom's funeral my best friend died. I was destroyed. I somehow came back to watch the pua and I thought does it work? I bought the game and it's spurred an amazing lifestyle. My kids are learning. My library has grown. I don't watch TV. I read and I game. Thanks Neil. You've helped me so much. I am only intermediate. But im doing so great. You're a legend!

You’re very inspiring. How many days a week do/did you practice? Where do/did you practice (clubs, streets…)? Any book recommendations (other than the game)?

The rollercoaster ride of fame from Dee Snider has to be admired on two fronts.. he defied the movement of still wearing make-up when barely anyone else was doing it at the time.. and succeeded. Then crash n' burn following Come Out & Play... went broke... marriage on the brink.. needed resilience to bounce back.. BUT never resorted to drugs and alcohol like many losers. And to cut a long story short.. solo material that is more beefed up than TS ever did... many other projects including a film (Strangeland) and moving along to his latest release.. FOR THE LOVE of METAL which was written by others who come from different walks of life that wasn't from the glam era. Full circle. Respect restored.

Seems like a down to earth guy, that anyone could talk to, and that would make you feel comfortable rather than uncomfortable. At least that's the impression he gives. I can't say the same thing about Gene Simmons. He gives sort of another impression.

It was disrespectful to ask Rob to sing a loud note. I cringed at the question. If they knew anything about Rob Halford, even just by interviewing him this once, they would know that he's not a show-off. Furthermore, he was 65 years old and neither his voice nor the situation was warmed up, how could you expect him to just let a scream rip? Of course it would have been extremely weird of him to try it, and he did the right thing by pretending to not hear the question.

Oh this was so cool. Been a long time Priest fan (first heard them summer 1980). Thank you for this. I like how he took over the stage. Some serious, some funny and a few hillarious things. Like the his more personal approach :) Thank you very much.

5 Dee Snider's Life lessons [Starts at 09:48] 11:30 ─ 1) Positive Mental Atittude (PMA) / Banning Negative Thoughts. 14:58 ─ 2) Lose your safety-net / Do what you love and the only way is up. 16:34 ─ 3) A band is only as good as his weakest link. / Only play with pro's and don't limit your success. 18:18 ─ 4) Bullshit beats Talent but Bullshit and Talent beats Bullshit / Take credit for what you do. 22:35 ─ 5) You don't need to be king of the world just king of your world. / You deserve all best so go for it. ------------------------ 26:52 ─ [Extra Lesson] Look for the vaginal dryness in the deal and sell your soul / Take some risks.
