This was a great lesson, not only because you gave us something to play but also showed off different aspects of Hawaiian Instrumentals. The groundwork for all the embellishments and swing rhythm was well explained and now can be explored by the player who is interested. Thanks :)

This is great content! I own the Hawaiian Graded Repertoire book and this adds so much to it and gives me many ideas to play with.

Awesome lesson, thank you for sharing the Queen's music and keeping it alive and thriving! I'm excited to practice and share this one! Just a heads up, there might be an issue with your link to the tab. At the time of my writing, I get a 404 error from the link. Thank you again!

It's a very old song, but has become perhaps the most popular Brazilian tune of the 20th century! Pixinguinha first wrote it when he was only 19!

Thank you for that. I had my index fused so I don’t want to pick with it and strumming is easier. Nice if you could throw in strumming techniques a few times a year.

Mahalo for that detailed explanation ! I discovered this few weeks ago in Tab and had to make some Wikipedia searchs… Then I tried to apply this in the last estudio challenge as you suggested and I found that fine. Still have to work on to refine this technique…
