Cool effect, but for good magic to be great, it all depends on the presentation. 🙂

Yes, Self working tricks not only look more fooling but they are easy for beginners because it's easy to mess up and it's obvious from people's perspective that , the magician is onto some tricks , while we see a magic trick being performed by a pro magician 🤗

Wow, I honestly have a hard time believing that this extremely simple mathematical card effect would fool anyone who can add and subtract whole numbers. If this video ends up getting hundreds of thousands of views (and tens of thousands of likes), human civilization is on fast track for utter extinction.

I think you missed the bit where they cut the pack at the start. You and I know (as weve watched the video) that it all falls apart if they cut past 34 cards, but the person cutting (and hopefully not going past 34, and Id assume most dont) thinks they have just generated a totally random number. From a totally random number start, the trick looks magic. Of course, as said, the trick is the start number is not random (as such). So the requirement to add and subtract has nothing to do with how the person is 'fooled'. So there you go, ive saved civilization for you :-)

Nice trick but you were changing the order of the cards, stopping and starting again so often that even with a matching set of cards (double-backed cards bought specially having first seen the video a week ago) and not even trying to do the Elmsley count secretly, I couldn't keep up.

Nice, also a good one to use to get your card to the top and do something else. Like a ritual. Simple example: Text them a prediction. Do the 'ritual' Magician gives pack a riffle shuffle while talking (maintain top card - i dont do sleight of hand magic but this is dead easy). Tip: dont mention your shuffling, it'll be a subconscious 'they were extra mixed' Now do the cross force. Spectator cuts the cards anywhere they want. (don't complete). Cross force needs time misdirection. Here you remind them of the prediction and get them to look at their phone etc. Now reveal where they cut to!

I have stupidly small hands, so have difficulty with sleight of hand. I like the self working card tricks. I'm a support worker, performed four at work recently, and the lad I support and my colleague were very impressed. It's all to do with the presentation: add in a bit of flair and penache, and the results can be just as good as any of the more difficult card tricks.

Nope, I'm noy getting it. You said they tell you Spades, they don't tell you Jack or number they are thinking of. But then you said we know a Jack is 11 then you said you tell them to double the number and we know that's now 22. But who says they chose number 11? I'm very confused!

There is a possibility to know the suit without asking. Ask the spectator, after twice doubling their number, to abstract 1, if she thinks of hearts, 2 if it’s spades, 3 for a diamond and 4 for a club. If the number is of the serie 3, 7, 11, … 47, 51, the spectator abstracted 1 and her card is a heart. Then cut the deck so that 10 of clubs is on the bottom. Everything is now set for hearts. If her number is of the serie 2, 6 , 10, … 46, 50, her card is a spades. Cut the 7 of clubs to the bottom and it is set for spades. Is the serie 1, 5, 9, … 45, 49, she abstracted 3 which means her card is a diamond. Cut now the deck so that 4 of clubs is on the bottom. And finally if the serie is 0, 4, 8, … 44, 48, she choosed a club and in that case, the ace of clubs has to be on the bottom. Notice that 10, 7, 4 and 1 (the Ace) are the same figures that you have to remember in the set up. Just remember they should all to be clubs. Cutting is very simple: just look all the cards, facing you and say you will place her card on the spot she told you. You NEVER asked her card, it’s all in her mind, what makes this trick so strong (avoid to show the cards, you never know the spectator will notice the stacked deck). Let the spectator deal the cards from top face-down until just before she reaches her number. Turn the next card face-up to reveal.

Actually, you don't need to do a magician's force for the 10 packs if the cards are "opposite". That's a needless complexity. In fact, it works better if the spectator has a completely free choice between 10 packs.

The card trick is the "Out of This World," a classic card trick popularized by magician Paul Curry. In this trick, the magician seemingly allows the spectator to separate a shuffled deck of cards into red and black piles without looking at the faces of the cards. Here's a simplified overview of how it works: 1. **Preparation**: The deck is secretly arranged in a specific order, typically with red and black cards separated. The magician might then perform a false shuffle to maintain this order while giving the illusion of a thorough mixing. 2. **Presentation**: The magician explains that the spectator will attempt to separate the cards by color (red and black) without looking at the faces. The magician deals cards one at a time, asking the spectator to indicate whether they think each card is red or black. The magician places each card into two separate piles based on the spectator’s guess. 3. **The Reveal**: After all cards have been dealt, the magician reveals that the spectator has astonishingly separated the red and black cards almost perfectly, with all reds in one pile and all blacks in the other. 4. **Climax**: For added drama, the magician might use a convincer, such as predicting the last card's color or showing that the separation was near perfect with very few mistakes.

I know a card trick similar to this, its the only one I know 😊. I show the pack and tell whoever to cut the pack as many times as they want, so cut the pack and place the cut bottom half on top of the other half, as many times as you want. I can turn yhe top card over and tell them exactly what card is next. I've got few beers out of it 😊

There is a card trick where you count out 21 cards, in 3 rows of 7, going from left to right (solitaire style). You ask a person to mentally pick a card, but not to say what it is, but just tell the row it is in. You then pick up each row of cards, but you pick up the row they called 2nd. You then count out the cards again the same way and ask the person to name the row. You pick up the cards again and pick up their row 2nd. You do it one more time and ask the person to name the row. Now you can either, pick up the cards the same way again and count off the cards till you get to their card (it'll be the 11th card) or, you can just name the 4th card in the 2nd row. Their card will ALWAYS be the 4th card in the 2nd row. I have done this for years and it always turns out that way. I have never figured out how it happens!!

For breather crimps you will have a better hit rate for cuts if they cut the decks sides instead of the ends so position the deck so they do that perhaps with an example. Also, I don't like hugely obvious crimps so I will put a small, maybe 8th of an inch pencil marking on the side edge near the ends. They will never notice it but you can, so you don't need to "keep track" of where it's going.

I know one like this and so glad its not the one I know, this one drove my math teacher insane, he was not the same person after this was shown to him by me and I forget who taught me as a kid. I had a thing for cards and so called intuition and would make up my own trick once, but after I quit it all as I saw who was alaso using these cards and so called tricks and it was of the devil. So some of these so called unexplained tricks, are black magic I think and uses ancient math to solve who it is made and works, none of which anyione alive knows I think too, or not many. I only came to see if You were the one to reveal it to the world, and funny enough, I bought a pack of cards, used once in Vegas at the old flamingo, and only bought them to make the video and see if anyone out there can solve it. But i'm still on the fence as I don't know what I'm putting out there when I don't know its origins, how it works or how to solve it, You just follow the math to perform it. Ok back to see your trick God Bless and Much Love

I don't know card tricks, and I definitely can't "fan shuffle" or interlace them like you did. So, it seems the trick requires that the spectator know how to shuffle in the manner you show, right? (Google says it is riffle shuffle. I would likely ruin the pattern).
