Hello! The first color that I used is Quinacridone Magenta, and that is a Golden brand fluid acrylic. The lighter pink color that I used on top is Windsor and Newton pale rose blush. Thank you so much for watching!☺️

Hi! I just paint the sides with a black acrylic paint. Then, when I put my topcoat on the piece, I also spray the sides down so that the finish matches!☺️

Hello! Yes, each layer needs to dry before the next one is applied, but since I am using acrylic paints, they dry almost instantly! Thank you for watching!☺️

The green is still underneath the leaf! I picked up all of the green paint surrounding the leaf using a pick up sheet so that it would only be visible when I remove the leaf!

I bought gel plates like 3 years ago before my Grandma passed away and never really worked with them. So I have no stash of papers. I'm still working with the fake flowers. Tomorrow, I'm gonna go around and pick some Daisy's and queens Ann Lace. I bought a big pack of tissue paper. I'm not sure what kind you use or is needed, but what I've been using doesn't rip when I pull a print. But this is very inspiring to get the plates out. I bought a big one for 8.5x11. And a smaller one. I'm loving it! ❤❤❤ I come from a long line of German printers. Thought when I bought them, it connects me to printing somehow. ❤❤❤ Thank you!❤

I hope you have so much fun getting to know the plate! It definitely does take some getting used to. I could never get it to do what I wanted in the beginning, and there are still some days where nothing seems to go right, but the whole process is great nevertheless!

This is a gel plate. It’s a silicon-like plate. I’m using acrylic paints. It’s a lot of fun!
