Skate to have fun. I’m going back learning all the basics. Goal is to be able to Heel Flip and Kick Flip every time…been trying for the past 2.5 years 😀. When do you go down to skate?

I usually go down there on a Sunday evening 7 until 9. I really like the pump track at Hillsborough. You can go really fast and carve the corners.

Thanks for your comment. Never had to clean any tone rings before in 35 years of driving and maintaining cars. My philosophy is, if it isn’t broken don’t touch it 😂

By pulling the shoes and adjuster apart with the hub on you run the risk of damaging the magnetic tone ring There is very little clearance between the adjuster, wheel cylinder and tone ring with the hub installed.

Have you checked that the remotes are sending out a signal. Double check the receiver is getting power. Also try holding down the lock button for 10 secs, the unlock for 10s. It maybe a sync issue. A Land Rover specific diagnostic tool may point to the issue.

And then you need to torque the hub nut to 200Nm. Each to their own, I’ve never had to remove a hub to change shoes, it is in my option stupid to do that. 😊

Hello Mike, it could be the gearbox or the valve is worn. There could also be debris around the valve. Not sure the size of the screw, bit of blue tack on the end of the screwdriver helps hold the screw. @@BarkyInnit cheers and thanks for reply. Our valves are the earlier Honeywell units that require drain down ( not metal blister on cover and 4 bolts on base) . I did the blu tack, but new crosshead machine screws would be easier… I’m going to try to move the gearbox manually ( to fully open and close valve ) by making a tool using the old pinion from the seized Synchron motor… basically anything to avoid drain down as our system is the system from hell with airlocks.. wish me luck and thanks for the quick reply.

Hallo mate. FYI, I found my car issue but it was not the fuse. A mechanic at local garage fixed the issue in very short time, which was the cable issue on key wire diagram. But if you can do your self then go for it. The mechanic have experience in all cars and I do recommend him and his work. He saved me the cost of inspection and ordering new keys. My old Keys now fully working and the problem is fixed now. Their service was very quick and very friendly. I do recommend to everyone for all car issues get in touch.
