Not a lot of smoke. I thought those engines needed 8 to 1 fuel ratio???
@uppercanadachapter-aomcian41664 күн бұрын
They do need a lot of oil, but a motor in good tune won't smoke much even at such heavy ratios.

In the early days. It beat the hell out of rowing. Back when I was a young child. I remember my father rowing us out on the lake to fish .
@jimolson842419 күн бұрын
This reminds me of my father netting white fish in late fall on Minnesota lake Koronis. Stearns county. Salting down the fish in red wing crocks. Smoking the fish in winter. Pure enjoyment. Eating the white fish all winter. My old man was a Scandinavian American. He taught me how to live of the land. Farming, fishing, hunting, trapping. It's a viking heritage.

Why does that stupid music have to be added? The sound of this old engine is much more interesting.
@uppercanadachapter-aomcian41668 ай бұрын
Sorry you didn't like it. The answer is that sometimes the sound has problems or is inconsistent. Music covers the defects.

Greetings from oakville Ontario I never heard of your club what's considered an antique outboard motor age wise thanks
@uppercanadachapter-aomcian416611 ай бұрын
you should come out to a meet sometime. You can check out the club at aomci.org. For the purposes of the club an antique outboard is a motor made before 1950 and a classic is anything over 30 years.

There are several providers. We make no recommendations regarding where to purchase. A search of Andover coil 4A032 MFR-61689 P/N 97403-13206E0140 on eBay or Google will provide what you need.
