The irony. Not so many years ago a public convenience closed in Sea Mills, Bristol. After alteration work was carried out it then reopened as a cafe. (Ace royal HRH Princess Anne was the celebrity who performed the opening ceremony; I kid you not!). No one is fazed by its former use when they have their food and drink there so what's the big deal in Merthyr Tydfil with a public bench?

This was a stupid segment, with a reporter who seems to think toilet germs are something that's capable of hiding in minuscule crevices, specifically to leap out and attack unsuspecting bench sitters decades later.
