I have a z21 Start to drive my trains around the layout. I used to control the accessories (turnouts/points, lights and relays) with my z21 but now I added an Arduino to control my accessories. That said, the z21 is capable of handling all the layout :)

Excellent, I have been playing with some different cameras on my layout, but struggling with size vs quality
@Hal-Zuzzu_Model_Railway2 ай бұрын
I too have tried a few cheap different ones but the small ones that actually fit inside portals were bad quality and unreliable. This is not the smallest available but the quality is great for what I need it to do and as for size, well I was building my own portals and therefore I made sure the camera wagon fits through the new portals. Had to make slight adjustments in some places to allow it to pass, so all is good 👍😁

Nice work, looks good, like the mediterranean vibe of the layout with the white buildings, just ballasted myself and used masking tape to cover the point blades in my case as I had holes for the point motor underneath.

hahaha you have butter on the brain Paul. I have to admit, those containers are excellent for N Gauge modellers. I have about 6 locos in pieces and all of my models, except the 66, fit lengthways inside the container and are easily sealed and stacked safely, so yes, win win :) Thanks for watching Paul :)

Good video, thanks very much. I am about to convert the Farish 37 too and found yours. Mine is the second of the two chassis that you showed so it would have been nice to see that one converted but I think I can figure it out. Thanks for a clear explanation. That Tractor certainly pulls like a train :) I do like a 37.
@Hal-Zuzzu_Model_Railway5 ай бұрын
Glad I could help. Both chassis are the same. If I had to convert another one like the first one, with the brass strip, I'd most probably remove it and use a wire like was used on the darker chassis :)
